💡The big idea:  Using futures thinking as a tool to empower the next generation of changemakers through a transformative event and workshops. 

The Changemaker Days, organized by Ashoka Italy in Milan, brought together social innovators, institutions, businesses, and civil society to explore the future of changemaking in Italy, with a strong focus on equity, inclusion, and collective care. 

The event also presented the Mapping of Innovation and Social Change, a research project involving 267 participants that outlines the profile, motivations, and contexts of Italian social innovators.

As Forwardto, we contributed insights from foresight research on the future challenges of changemaking in Italy in collaboration with Ashoka and University of Turin and facilitated a Futures Making sprint workshop, supporting participants in exploring long-term uncertainties and translating them into shared directions for action.

My role as process and graphic facilitator focused on guiding collective sensemaking, supporting group dialogue in complexity, and visually synthesizing emerging insights, future-oriented skills, and narrative shifts shaping the next generation of changemakers. 

The work emphasized futures literacy, strategic imagination, systemic thinking, and the ability to create inclusive narratives that turn possibility into action.
