Project: Re:Future – Possible Futures for an Innovative Territory, 2025
Process facilitation, visual facilitation
💡The big idea: An event that uses futures thinking to make the future tangible for the 7 regional innovation hubs in Piedmont.
For the annual event Re:Future – Possible Futures for an Innovative Territory, promoted by Sistema Poli di Innovazione Piemonte (the seven Regional Innovation Hubs of Piedmont), I worked as a process facilitator toghether with the Forwardto team, within a participatory futures thinking journey involving over 60 representatives from the region’s seven Innovation Hubs.
Using "futures lenses", signals of change, and speculative narratives set in 2040, participants explored risks, opportunities, and potential evolutions for the Piedmont innovation ecosystem, translating them into good and bad news–style scenarios.
The collective work led to the identification of concrete transformative actions for the near term (2026), with a focus on cross-organizational collaboration, regenerative leadership, enabling technologies, shared skills and services, and the cultivation of futures literacy as a strategic capability.
An intense and highly participatory experience, designed to turn future imagination into present-day action.
