What is the future of culture in Tuscany in 2030?

I had the privilege of being one of the facilitators and co-organizers of SIETE PRESENTE, an initiative celebrating the 10th anniversary of Giovanisì, the Regione Toscana project supporting youth autonomy. The event, graced by the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, took place in the stunning setting of Villa del Gombo (Tuscany)

Together with Forwardto, a non-profit organization specializing in futures and foresight methodologies with a focus on social impact, I contributed to designing and facilitating the participatory activities that brought together over 400 participants, especially citizens under 35, influencers, and institutions. Our collective aim was to empower young people to take a proactive role in shaping regional policies and their future.

The focus was to envision the future of culture looking towards 2030: using methodologies like futures studies, strategic foresight, and design thinking, we co-created tangible proposals to inspire Toscana’s policies in areas such as tourism, environment, technology, and partnerships. 

As part of my contribution, I also curated the live visualization of the outcomes, transforming the ideas and insights from the day into clear and impactful visuals, presented at the conclusion of this vibrant and inspiring event.
