Project: Eatnik app, 2019
UX, UI, graphic design
💡The big idea: By creating opportunities for cultural exchange and encouraging new connections, Eatnik transforms mealtime into a celebration of diversity and community.
Eatnik is a platform designed to bring people together through the universal language of food. Addressing the challenge of finding authentic cultural dining experiences, the app connects aspiring cooks who want to share their heritage with adventurous food lovers, eager to explore diverse cuisines.
Targeting both passionate home cooks and curious eaters, Eatnik functions as the “Airbnb of ethnic food.” Users can search for cooks in their area, explore different types of cuisine, and book personalized dining experiences. A review system ensures a safe and enjoyable exchange, while seamless communication features help manage logistics such as allergies and ingredient preferences.
The project was designed during my master program in Communication Design, together with Alessandra Perillo, Sara Capitani and Antonio Conticello. I co-curated the overall flow of the user experience, the illustrations and some elements of the UI, along with the naming.
Programs used: InVision (wireframe, mockup), Adobe XD (mockup), Adobe Illustrator (illustrations)
